Edward Christopher Sheeran was born on February 17, 1991, in Halifax town in West Yorkshire, England. His father, John Sheeran, is a lecturer, and his mother, Imogen Sheeran, is a jewellery designer. The parents ran an art consultancy company called Sheeran Lock. Ed Sheeran’s brother Matthew Sheeran is a composer.
Ed Sheeran moved to Framlingham town in Suffolk with his family when he was a child. He studied at the Rishworth School and was learning guitar at that time.
